In my coming back to the hub, I will be sharing recipes for a deliciously holistic herpes diet, because until we have the cure, its all about being healthy and outbreak-free! I am vegetarian, which is the best way to fuel the body and the immune system, but I know that everyone is not vegetarian, so to the best of my ability, I will give you the healthiest meat recipes.
Curried Chicken with Bok Choy or Cabbage
Choose local organic ingredients as much as possible.
2 cups of Bok Choy or cabbage chopped
2 medium sized chicken breasts (chopped)
2 tbsp of olive oil
3-5 garlic cloves chopped
2 tsp of ground Tumeric
2tsp of ground Cumin
2 small cans of crushed tomatoes (or one large can)
1/2 onion chopped
1-2 tsp of curry powder or paste
1/3 cup of chicken stock
1/3 cup of plain organic yogurt
Heat the oil in a fry pan and sauté onions and garlic until soft, then add the chicken. Cook until golden, turn down the heat and add the spices. Stirring occasionally, let it cook together for another 5 minutes. Then add the greens and cover. Let it cook until the greens have softened. Add the chicken stock and yogurt and heat till warm, but not boiling. Let it all simmer together for another 5 minutes and then serve.

The PCR is used for recent infections. If you have had it for over 3 months then it will show negative even though you have it.

Just had a quick question on HSV testing. There is a program which is claiming a cure, and they base this claim on participants testing negative with a "PCR DNA test"....which they claim identifies DNA of the virus so if test is negative virus is absent. I seem to remember some discussion on the hub long ago as to whether certain tests would yield a positive result if there was no active outbreak at the time.....does anybody understand clearly what this DNA test can / cannot prove? From what I understand certain tests can come back negative and person is still getting outbreaks.... thanks for any feedback on this point

So far I still get OB's but they do not blister just a red spot appears.

Yes - I had some success with colloidal silver at the spine and then rubbed plenty coconut oil on top to help carry it in. Then again; I have changed so many other things that it is hard to say what is doing the change. My main difference is much smaller out breaks - same style you mention. Naturally DMSO would be more efficient to carry in the oregano oil. I will look into purchasing same.

Stillhappy, yes, I did quite a number of IV treatments....ozone, H202, Vit C, UVBI. Did not keep track of total number, but was still getting outbreaks....and strangely even doing this treatment during an outbreak did not seem to lessen the severity or duration. I think these treatments are very effective for virus which are carried in the blood stream, but given HSV ability to "hide" I think it is much tougher for these treatments to have an impact (this is just speculation on my part). I did treatments here in BKK and also in the States with an alternative doc in AZ who insisted she had seen people cured with these IV treatments....just didn't seem to be working for me. I am drinking lots of coconut to try to keep monolaurin input up, using zapper, using a sublingual UV device (which is meant to work like UVBI just non-invasive) and doing the oregano / DMSO treatment I described before. Have had no real outbreak for a couple months....got one very tiny spot which disappeared within a day.....again, all that I am doing might just be effective suppressant but many of the usual triggers have not caused anything so am just happy to be OB free for a while.

I have as previously covered a monthly small outbreak that I can normally catch and know down with zovirax tablets, and cream, collodial silver drinks, Vit C, Lysine tabs w. garlic, echinecia, olive leaf Etc.
I eat a fairly clean diet - use organic coconut oil daily in food and on the body (yes; there too :o). I have also tried Essiac tea, as well as some of the fancier collodial silvers out there in high doses.

Dear all, have not posted in a while but wanted to share a remedy I have been using recently. Before sleeep every night I am rubbing very concentrated oil of oregano (think it's called P78 or something like that) on my lower spine and then putting a couple quick sprays of DMSO on top of that. I don't know that this is actually killing any virus, but it seems to be working pretty effectively for me as a suppressant therapy as no recent outbreaks. I am still taking monolaurin, using a zapper, etc. but was still getting outbreaks prior to this....been a couple months now, so just wanted to share this idea. Not sure if it will work for others....

I am 23 recently found out I have herpes and life sucks, I am told I will have it for the rest of my life. Well, its been 2 weeks since my last OB.;. All I am doing is drinking this stuff called Sea Buckhtorn 100 and drinking liquid resveratrol...maybe this grapes thing has something to do with it. resveratrol is from grapes..I drink 2oz of each 3 times a day...one tastes very tart and the other just tastes like crap...this is the longest I have been without an OB since january 10th. will keep you posted....

I have to say that red grapes have something powerfull and my feelings they could have a slow cure. For 2 months I was on zeolite and oxegen drops and the difference was amazings no outbreaks and the virus was very weak that an itch did not last few seconds. mind you I had few outbreak at the start and a big one in the last week before I finished zeolite bottles. I almost felt cured. A week after zeolite was finished but was still on oxegen drops I started to feel strong itching few times a day but no pimples or they were very weak. I stopped the oxegen and ate grapes everyday for six weeks and noticed the similar effect of zeolite and oxegen together when having only red grapes. No itching, No outbreaks, No nonsense. and when I felt an itch or anything else I eat red grapes and in a matter of few minutes the itch was gone and did not come back till few days later when I missed to eat it that day but was still very weak. I stopped eating grapes for 2 weeks to see the effect and I started to feel the itching more often and with more pain. So I went back on it for a month now and have not had anything whatsoever till now. So I will keep eating red grapes everyday hopefully it will weaken the virus and maybe just maybe will cure it. I have had it for over 30 years spent thousands of dollars and still have herpes ..its for life..I have had a new outbreak somewhere every 3 days since jan 10th this year.. Hello all! I'm sure no one remembers me, but I was on the hub a while back. I'm very sad to see that we are still in the same situation and nothing has worked. Now as far as H is concerned I sent the hair sample to Dr. kwang and He called me and said he is sending me the teas which are very pricey.
Its going to run about 300 per week to do this and he didnt say how long it will take so I may be throwing money out the window or maybe this will really work.
